Funeral services for Margaret Ann Visser, who died September 17, 1969, at University Hospitals, Iowa City, were held September 20 from Williams Funeral home with Rev. James Denler officiating.

Burial was in t’Lam cemetery.

Casket bearers were Terry Harvey, Carl Schwanebeck, Henderson Reese, Joe Templeton, Ed Roetman, and Bob McKay. Mrs. Owen Elliott was the organist.

Margaret Ann, daughter of James Martin and Harriett Hayton Visser, was born Feb. 7, 1946, at Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville high school in 1964.

She attended Drake University for one year, after which she transferred to Iowa Methodist School of Nursing from which she graduated in August 1967. Since that time she has practiced nursing in Iowa City and attended the University of Iowa where she would have graduated in June with a BA degree in literature.

She was preceded in death by her mother on March 29, 1956, and her father on Sept. 1, 1959.
At her father’s death, she and her sister became members of the Dwight Harvey family.

Surviving are her sisters, Mrs. Jean McKay, and Mrs. Celia Burger; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Harvey; and two grandmothers Mrs. J .L. Templeton and Mrs. A.C. Harvey
