Services, for James Francis Chrisman, 80 of Knoxville, who died Dec. 3, 1986 at Pella Community Hospital, were held, Dec. 6 at the First United Methodist Church.

Bybee and Davis Funeral Home, was in charge of arrangements, interment was in Asbury Cemetery.

Revs. K. Wayne Hoehns and John Beebout officiated at the services. Music was provided by James Kidder, organist, and Richard Hunt, soloist.
Pallbearers were Walt Mulkey, Tunis VanWalbeek, Jay Durham, Calvin VanLoon, Jesse Brooks, Howard Hunt, and Lew VanHaaften.

Mr. Chrisman was born June 4, 1906 in Marion County, the son of James Blaine and Mamie Gee Chrisman.

On July 26, 1929, he married Dorothy Harding.

He was a well known livestock producer on a farm located between Knoxville and Pella.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by parents in 1954.

He is survived by his wife, one son, J. Norman of Knoxville; three grandchildren J. Phillip, J. Kent and Connie; and one brother, Robert of Knoxville.

A memorial has been established to the First United Methodist Church.
