Florent “Tom” LeRoy Thomas, 74, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Tom was born October 27, 1939 in Knoxville, Iowa to John “Jack” and Lena (Vancebrock) Thomas. He was a hard worker, starting work when he was barely a teenager.
