Services for Delia Kool, 81, a former Knoxville resident, who died Dec. 21, 1979 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa, were held Dec.at Bybee-Davis Funeral Home.
The Rev. Lloyd Miller officiated at the services With interment in Coal Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Engle Vander Veer, Roy Vander Veer, Engle Vander Veer, Jr., Rick Mortenson, Lloyd Denny and Tom Anderson.

Mrs. Kool was born Oct. 3, 1898 near Knoxville, the daughter of Clarenece and Belle Woodyard Blackman.

She married Cornelius A. Kool Jan. 28, 1920 near Knoxville and they lived in here until 1939 when they moved to Iowa City Jan. 28, 1920

Her husband preceded her in death April 1, 1970.

Survivors are her son Dr. Kenneth A. Kool of Philadelphia, Pa., daughter, Mrs. Daniel Martha Eicher of Iowa City; brother, William Blackman and sister, Edith Tubbs, both of Knoxville; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
