Funeral services for Bonnie Mae (Wooldridge) Schrader, 67, of Dallas, who died on Friday, June 15, 2001, at Westridge Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, were held on Monday June 18, at Williams Funeral Home. Rev. David Abbott officiated at the services.
Music was provided by John Crawford, vocalist, and Jim Kidder, organist.

Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery in Marion County. Casket bearers were Wendie Bennett, Mitchell Chips, Jim Friday, Bob Roland, Jason and Tom Schrader, Danny Wooldridge Jr., and Mike Wooldridge.

Bonnie was born on May 23, 1934, in Marion County. She was the daughter of Verda Davis and Dale Wooldridge. She was one of 16 children in the family. She attended Knoxville High School.

On December 29, 1951, she married Thomas Jefferson Schrader in Des Moines. To this union, five children were born.

Bonnie lived her entire life in Marion County. She worked for Ten-X in Pleasantville and Northcote’s Locker in Melcher.

She was very involved in Melcher-Dallas school activities for many years. She was also involved in her community. She was active in the Dallas Christian Church until health slowed her down.

She was a member of the Neighborhood Card Club, better known as “Ace High”. She likes to collect bells, go camping, and attend country music festivals. Her grandchildren were a large part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Bob, Raymond, Edward Lee, and Junie Wooldridge; and one sister, Betty Lucille Wooldridge.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Schrader of Dallas; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Tom Schrader of South Lake, Texas, Dick and Diana Schrader of Pleasantville, and Michael and Carol Schrader of Knoxville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy Norris of Milo and Diana and Jay Exline of New Sharon; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six brothers, Charles Wooldridge of Knoxville, Bill Wooldridge of Des Moines, Danny Wooldridge, Sr. of Knoxville, Bonnie WooldridgeJack Wooldridge of Knoxville, Marvin Wooldridgeof Knoxville and Donald Wooldridge of Harvey; four sisters, JoAnn Camerson of Tucson, Ariz., Jane Bales of Tracy, Wanda Sellers of Eagle Grove and Mary Pregon of Pershing as well as other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Dallas Christian Church or Melcher-Dallas Fire & Rescue. Arrangements were made by Williams Funeral Home.
