Scott Adam Sloan was born April 15, 1989, in Knoxville, Iowa the son of Pat Sloan and Anna Robinson.

During high school, Scott was active in cross country and track. He also sang in the Knoxville Community Choir.
Scott graduated from Knoxville High School with the Class of 2008.

He worked at Walmart for several years until joining Hy-Vee in October 2017. He also worked at the pit concessions at the Knoxville Raceway, where fans and drivers loved his tenderloins.

In his spare time, Scott enjoyed watching sports, especially the Packers and W.W.E. His greatest joy in life was hanging out with his family and friends. Scott will be remembered as an outgoing person with a big smile and a heart to match.

Scott passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018, at his home, surrounded by his family, at the age of 29 years.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leland and Marie Robinson.
Those left to cherish Scott’s memory include his parents, Anna Robinson of Knoxville and Pat Sloan of Ottawa, Kansas; siblings: Leland Sloan of Ottawa, Kansas and Emily Sloan of Knoxville; fiancé, Ashley Owens of Knoxville; grandparents, Marv and Jane Sloan of Knoxville and many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Scott Sloan, age 29 of Knoxville, will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Breckenridge Cemetery. Memorials may be designated to the family.
