June was born June 28, 1937, in Chariton, Iowa to Robert and Leona Terrell Williams. She grew up in the Knoxville area and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1955.

She was married to Don Herold at the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Germantown on August 2, 1959. They were blessed with 3 daughters: Jolene, Darla, and Terri.

She loved to work in her garden and loved tending the flowers. She enjoyed feeding the neighborhood cats and had recently lost her special kitty. She was a great cook and everyone especially loved her noodles. June was an avid reader; she really enjoyed her novels. June and Don enjoyed camping and took many family vacations traveling this way. They also camped at Lake Red Rock with extended family.

Most of all she loved her family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her friends and family will always remember how she was able to see the bright side of all situations and was able to pull you up and give encouragement. Losing her eyesight the last few years was a struggle for her, but she had a deep faith that gave her strength. June was very active at the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Germantown and was a member of the Ladies Aid.
